Patricia Field, the iconic stylist responsible for the trademark fashions on 'Sex and the City', has two things she would like you to know: She doesn't give a freak about the economy, and she kinda wants to give SuBo a makeover.
First, the news has broken that Field might quit the SATC franchise (and, therefore, not style the second film due out next year) after having a row with Sarah Jessica Parker. SJP saw the new Carrie Bradshaw as a recessionista. Field thinks: not a great idea. "I don't use the recession as a reference for my creativity," she tells Grazia.
So what would be her next project? Maybe Susan Boyle. "I would probably make her a glamorous opera diva," Field says. "Roll on the make up. Put her in a corset, put her in a diva gown - give her a hot wig and let her go and sing."
We say: As long as Boyle doesn't end up looking like first-season Miranda, we're good.
