Renee Zellweger Is Spoilt For Choice For Fall
If it's elegance that you're looking for, Carolina Herrera is the designer to go for. For anyone else, sticking with elegant, classic pieces would result in a regurgitation of past ideas but season after season Herrera manages to work with these themes in different ways.
Her signature pieces felt more relevant this season because of Herrera's use of colour and print. A floor-length dress came in silver at the top and blue at the bottom; a shorter style appeared in pink and red print and conservative dresses in simple shapes came in bright blue or red adding a relaxed feel to the otherwise dramatic evening based collection. Caroline Trentini stood out in a gold sequin gown that I'm sure we'll see on Renee Zellweger very soon.

Renee Zellweger wore un-basic black to the premiere of 'Otouto,' the closing film at the 60th-annual Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin. She chose a balloon-sleeve, off-the-shoulder black dress for the red carpet, and kept her footwear simple and chic.

Olivier Theyskens Causes Ripple Effect At Puig Fashion Group
When it was announced that Olivier Theyskens was leaving Nina Ricci, I don't think any of us could have anticipated that so much drama would ensue.
Last week we reported that Mario Grauso, president of Piug Fashion Group, will allegedly step down after fashion week in October after being displeased about Theyskens departure from the brand. If times couldn't get any worse for Puig, reports today claim that celebrities plan to remove their support of the conglomerate and its brands. Renée Zellweger, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon and Mariska Hargitay, were all introduced to the label by Grauso so it's likely that they might not wear the brand on the red carpet anymore, since he is leaving.
As The Cut point out, Witherspoon and Zellweger almost always wear Carolina Herrera so Grauso's departure could undeniably seriously affect the company and the brands.

New York's Metropolitan Opera House was teeming with models, celebs and general innovators last night for the Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. So basically, it was an excuse for people to show off their formal dresses. At the gala: a grade-A showing from Sessilee Lopez, a still-sunglassed Anna Wintour and a jolting use of neon green.
