When we heard that Rumer Willis was cast to appear in Badgley Mischka's S/S11 campaign, we must say we were surprised. The collaboration wasn't the most obvious choice but now the images have been released, the choice seems perfect.
The 22-year old actress and daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis looks effortlessly beautiful in the campaign pulling off dresses that aren't so easy to perfect. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka are still pleased with their choice calling Willis "a great muse for the season.....She has a vivacious spirit to her; she is young and modern, which is representative of our spring collection."
Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka announced on Thursday that Rumer Willis will get a little more famous - for starring in their Spring '11 collection campaign. This is the first time Willis, the 22-year-old sometime movie star and daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has fronted a big ad campaign, but she previously served as a spokesperson for Ocean Pacific, a Walmart clothing range.
The designers explained their choice by saying: "We adore Rumer, she is glamorous, youthful and fun...[she] captures the spirit fo all of our spring collections, especially our newly launched Mark + James collection."
When the Art of Elysium, a charity organization that encourages entertainers to reach out to sick children, honoured Kirsten Dunst on Saturday, plenty of Hollywood came out to see the festivities. Everyone from Ashley Olsen to Jessica Alba to Dita von Teese hit the red carpet for the third-annual charity gala, titled "Heaven."
Dunst, who has worked with The Art of Elysium for more than six years, received the Spirit of Elysium Award in Beverly Hills from last year's winner, Eva Mendes. The gala's after-party - planned in part by co-chair Lisa Love of Teen Vogue - featured an appearance by Billy Idol and Steve Jones. But most importantly, who gets your style vote for the evening?
Briana Evigan, Rumer Willis and Leah Pipes all opted for dark looks for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards yesterday but Audrina Patridge went the opposite way and chose bright blue heels and a strapless purple dress.
Demi Moore and Rumer Willis made Monday's screening of 'Spread' a family affair. Mum chose a waist-accenting lavender frock; daughter, a strapless gold number.
