We are left with Carrie squealing about Dior and Samantha wearing clothes that she seems to have stolen from Joan Collins and the whole thing adds up to Absolutely Fabulous without the fun.

When we went to the cinema recently, we saw the super-shiny film poster for the 'Sex and the City' sequel and had to ask ourselves, "Why are we milking this again?" Then, we saw the official trailer and decided we couldn't wait to buy our tickets. The trailer opens with a montage of New York sights, including the Hearst building, set against Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind." We also get to see Carrie rocking a turban and a bit of Halston, and that's never a bad thing.
True, the desert scene - complete with camels - is probably going to be ridiculous. But that doesn't mean we're not looking forward to taking a spin around the globe with some of our favourite New York ladies one last time. Is it May 2010 yet?
