How's the fashion down under? You'll have to go to Miami to find out.
The White Sands Australia runway show at Miami Fashion Week Swim on Saturday brought these looks out for summer. Do you approve?

Mara Hoffman's latest collection hit the runway at Miami Fashion Week Swim on Saturday. We're not so sure about some of the offerings. But what do you think?

The latest round of bathing suits from Miami Fashion Week Swim, which both Whitney Port and Selita Ebanks have been keeping up with, brings a few points of interest. Besides the obvious drawing point of cute bikinis (hello, L*Space and Crystal Jin!), we have Bret Michaels-style headbands, the introduction of toile to swimwear, shiny gold tights under some suits and, er, light bondage references.
All this in just a day? You're keeping us interested, Miami.

Haven't picked a swimsuit for this summer yet? Don't worry, because the Caffe Swimwear runway show from Miami Fashion Week should leave you with plenty of ideas. We're thinking that if the looks that hit the catwalk are any indication, you'll be needing some itsy bikinis, huge platforms and an optional dose of disco gold.

I'm sure lots of people are going to be disappointed when they hear this. After the complaints caused by the sexed-up, controversial Calvin Klein campaign, the brand decided to swap it. The raunchy foursome ad has officially been replaced by this tame image of a model in a red bikini.
Which do you prefer best?

The past few months have really horrible for Giles Deacon. I mean, who would want to lounge around exclusive pools in L.A. observing beautiful women and end the day calling that a hard day's work? Well that's exactly what lucky Deacon has been up to recently, as he prepared for the launch of his new swimwear line at New Look, which launches today.
"It was all designed while on a research trip to Los Angeles - by the pool at the Chateau Marmont," Deacon told Vogue.com. "For me it's not so much Eighties-inspired but more a mix of clean lines and graphic boldness with a touch of playfulness."
What do you think about Deacon's swimsuit?

As long as you don't feel silly wearing a massive bow on your head, you'd be hard pressed to feel sad while wearing some of the looks from Diane von Furstenburg's latest resort collection.

We know Brazilian fashion means more than swimsuits, but that's mostly what models showed off at the Salinas runway show this Rio Fashion Week. If we're judging catwalk "trends" already, you apparently should wear multiple hats (bonnets?) with your bathing attire of choice.
