Urban Outfitters Want You To 'Eat Less'

Urban Outiftters, what were you thinking? Who would have thought that t-shirts could be so controversial. This week the high street retailer is under fire for selling t-shirts saying 'Eat Less' - a sentiment that many-a-fashionista may adhere to but would never publicly admit.

Although the company has responded by taking the products down from their website, according to The Cut the t-shirts are still available in stores. Many are arguing that this was nothing more than a stunt to gain some press attention. Although that's a cynical approach, it does make sense particularly since we all witnessed the negative press that Kate Moss recieved after saying, "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels".

These problems nowadays are with kids much, much younger than that, and that's most of the problem; when they're very young and vulnerable.”

Quote Me: Vogue Australia Joins Size-Zero Fight

Some of the international designers' samples look like dolls clothes when they arrive. We shouldn't have to starve to fit the clothes. The clothes should fit us.

Quote Me: Kate Moss Is "Fat", Trendy

Malnourished women aren't interesting any more. They're depressing ... Fat people, meanwhile, look better every day. Why? Because they look carefree. So heave a sigh of relief and let your gut out. Kate Moss might be "fat", but it turns out she's bang on trend, as ever.

Yes, our eyebrows are scrunching over this Times of London assessment, too.
