So we'll admit it, we're addicted to social networking just like the next good fashionista. We can't help but follow our favourite designers on Twitter, and upload all of last night's fabulous soiree photos onto Facebook. Then came the nightlife inspired Gucci Eyeweb site, and now Burberry are making social networking the height of fashion, with Art Of The Trench.

Models in '30s bobs, a cameo from model Tatjana Patitz and 300 enthralled guests at the Excelsior Hotel on the Lido: these were things to expect at the Chanel 2010 cruise show in Venice. Karl Lagerfeld turned out plenty of sailor-striped dresses, wide-brimmed hats and, yes, old-school-glamour full-length frocks. For next year's holiday, be sure to pick up something in red satin or white chiffon. Judging from this collection, it looks like you'll be needing them.
